The Art/Life Institute
KINGSTON, NY 185 Abeel Street
A Performance Art Residency, Gallery and Project Space
Hello and welcome to the Art/Life Institute residency program!
Here on this welcome page you can find local places with supplies, food and more.
In Kingston, NY, the area in which you are staying is referred to as the Rondout. It is right by the Hudson River. It is a small area and the big box stores and grocery stores are on the other side of Kingston but there are still many things in walking distance. We will be there on select days to drive you around. Please get what you need thoughout the week.
Please remember our purpose for the residency is to foster a community for the Arts in Kingston, to walk around the wonderful waterfront, meet the people in Kingston, then host the local people you’ve meet met for a dinner party at the end of the month.
Here we are!
Trash pick up is on Thursday you can put your trash out 6 PM on Wednesday and it needs to be out 7 AM Thursday.
Recycling is every other week.
You can put three regular trash bags in the can
not exceeding 50 pounds.
